In Pictures: Wylde's 'Emmerdale' exits?

With Mark Wylde's Emmerdale exit only several weeks away, show bosses today unveiled images of three potential departure scenarios for the self-made millionaire.

Last month, it was announced that Maxwell Caulfield is to stand down after only a year in the role.

In the rural soap, Caulfield's character Mark recently resolved to leave the village and start afresh with his first wife Faye Lamb (Kim Thomson).

However, during the second week of January, his actions soon catch up with him when his second wife Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) rumbles his secret affair, setting off a chain of events leading to his exit.

An Emmerdale spokesperson confirmed: "Mark's world will be torn apart when the truth is revealed in a dramatic showdown, which will have devastating consequences for everyone involved."

Series producer Gavin Blyth teased: "We could see history repeated and Mark ditch the 'Dales for a brand new life. Or will he keep his promise and leave the village with ex-flame Faye? Or could something far more sinister rid Mark of his demons forever?"
