Dales star tips Carter for 'great future'
Published Saturday, Feb 27 2010, 10:00 GMT | By Daniel Kilkelly and Kris Green

Earlier this month, it was announced that Carter had quit his role as postman Jamie Hope in order to pursue new projects.
Reflecting on the news, Ogbourne - who plays twisted Nathan Wylde on the Yorkshire-based programme - told DS: "I think he's a great actor and he's going to go on to great things but we're really good friends so I'm sad to see him go as a friend.
"I'm excited for him, though. As a young actor involved in something like this it's always good to branch out and look to new horizons and, due to the character he plays, it's time to move on.
"It is going to be sad to see him go because he's a good friend of mine but it's an important time for him to branch out in his career."
Carter joined Emmerdale in November 2005 and first appeared on screen as Jamie in February 2006. He recently confirmed that he expects the character to "just [leave] in a cab" in his exit scenes.
