Eve will be seen making her debut on the show next week as she arrives on the doorstep of grandmother Edna Birch's (Shirley Stelfox) home unexpectedly, leaving the village favourite to wonder why she has turned up from France out of the blue.
In an interview with DS, Shaw described Eve as "feisty and very flirtatious" and went on to name Ryan Lamb (James Sutton) as just one of her forthcoming love interests.
She explained: "The first guy on Eve's list is Ryan, so I was kissing James Sutton the other day. Then there's a few more coming up, too!"
The drama's new recruit confirmed that Adam Barton (Adam Thomas) also takes a shine to Eve, but warned that there will be yet more romantic twists ahead for the character.
Shaw said: "Eve doesn't care about rubbing people up the wrong way - if blokes want to cheat on their partners with her, then that's not her problem! Initially, it's a case of which Barton will fall for her charms.
"Also, I've not actually done any scenes yet with another person where it'd be obvious, but she likes this other guy, too. I really don't know how they're going to introduce them, though."
