The village temptress comes clean after Carl makes it clear that he's sticking by Chas due to her 'pregnancy', crushing Eve's dreams of a future with him.
Deeply upset, Eve breaks down at home and finally reveals all to Edna. However, she receives little sympathy from her grandmother, who insists that she only has herself to blame for the mess she's in.
