Dominic Brunt: 'Baby will bring problems'

Emmerdale star Dominic Brunt has revealed that his character will face difficulties when his girlfriend's baby is born.

The actor plays Paddy Kirk, whose girlfriend Rhona Goskirk is pregnant with his best friend Marlon Dingle's child. Brunt teased that the baby will further complicate their relationships.

Rhona, played by Zoe Henry, gives birth to a baby with Down's syndrome in scenes to be filmed next week.

"It's great to be involved in a storyline like this. It will be shown in a positive way," Brunt told the Daily Star Sunday.

"The baby will be healthy and there will be no complications. But I can't say the same for Rhona, Marlon and Paddy."

Brunt and Mark Charnock, who plays Marlon, will host Leeds Zombie Film Festival on April 24 in aid of animal charity WSPA.
