'Emmerdale' star hints at Kelly troubles

Adele Silva has admitted that her Emmerdale character Kelly Windsor will find it more difficult to deceive ex-fiancé Jimmy King as their current storyline continues.

Kelly has recently managed to fool Jimmy (Nick Miles) into thinking that she is the love of his life, taking advantage of his confused state following his amnesia diagnosis.

However, in an interview with All About Soap, Silva confirmed that things start to go wrong for Kelly when Jimmy's memories of wife Nicola slowly begin to make a welcome return.

Silva explained: "Kelly's spent all this time telling him his memories aren't real and his mind is just playing tricks on him, but then he starts remembering actual feelings, and persuading someone their feelings aren't real is very difficult.

"Kelly desperately tries to tell Jimmy that certain events he thinks he is remembering, such as their wedding day or the day Angelica was born, aren't reality. But he isn't convinced by it all."

Asked how Jimmy would react if he discovered that Kelly caused his head injury and subsequent memory loss, the actress replied: "His world would be turned upside down, and it's only a matter of time. She is clutching at straws at the moment by telling him that he is confused all the time. I love playing someone so different to me, it makes playing Kelly so exciting! I like getting the scripts and seeing what she is going to be getting up to next."

Nicola Wheeler, who plays Nicola, recently warned that her character may not want Jimmy back even if he does discover Kelly's true colours.
