Jimmy's decision nabs 6.2m on 'Emmerdale'

Emmerdale brought in 6.2 million on Wednesday evening, as Jimmy finally decided whether he wants to be with Nicola or Kelly, according to overnight viewing data.

ITV1's rural drama averaged 6.2m (36.2%) from 7pm, down 950k week-on-week, as Charity was also taken aback to find a jewellery box in her cereal with a pair of diamond earrings inside. A further 135k (0.7%) watched the episode on ITV1+1.

Elsewhere, Hollyoaks fetched 910k (5.6%) on Channel 4 from 6.30pm, before E4's first look at the next episode had 322k (1.9%) from 7pm.

Earlier in the day, Doctors grabbed 1.2m (20.9%) on BBC One from 1.45pm, while Neighbours greeted 673k (11.6%) on Channel 5. The repeat screening was watched by 1.18m (10.4%) from 5.30pm.

Home & Away fetched 744k (5.2%) from 6pm, before 5*'s first look at the next episode entertained 412k (2.9%) from 6.30pm.

Meanwhile, a tribute programme marking Coronation Street star Beverley Callard's departure, Farewell Liz, averaged 4.39m (23.8%) for ITV1 from 7.30pm, adding 144k on +1.
