Adam Thomas: 'Ryan gives me workout tips'

Emmerdale star Adam Thomas has revealed that his brother and fellow soap star Ryan is helping him prepare for his current storyline.

The actor plays Adam Barton in the ITV1 soap, who will shortly embark on an affair with Ella Macey (Corrinne Wicks) - his girlfriend Mia's mother. Ryan (Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street) has been helping him get
into shape ahead of filming the scenes.

"I phoned Ryan [when I got the script] and said, 'What are they doing to me?'" he told the Sunday Mirror. "In these scenes I'm in my boxers, and I was like, 'No! I need to get down to the gym'. I ­don't have a six-pack like our Ryan but I've been trying to take a few tips off him.

"It's every boy's dream to get with an ­attractive ­older woman."

Speaking to Reveal magazine, he added: "My hero is probably my bother Ryan. And my twin brother Scott. I look up to them."

Adam recently claimed that his character is thrilled to be receiving attention from an older woman.
