Keen to put things right following her recent behaviour, Chas ends her relationship with Nikhil and encourages Gennie to make her feelings known to him as he's now a free agent.
Later, at The Woolpack, Gennie consoles Nikhil over his break-up before leaving him stunned by confessing that she's in love with him.
However, an angry Nikhil thinks that Chas and Gennie have played him for a fool and storms out of the pub in disgust. Outside, he nastily insults Gennie by declaring that he could never be with a "plain girl" like her…
