POTD: 'Emmerdale' car accident for Aaron and Chas

Emmerdale's Aaron Livesy is left horrified in tonight's double bill of the soap as he realises that his erratic behaviour has put his mother's life in danger.

With Chas (Lucy Pargeter) desperate to make her son see sense following his recent outbursts, she has another confrontation with him at the garage before hopping into a car with him when he tries to get away from her.

Soon afterwards, Chas urges Aaron (Danny Miller) to follow in Andy's footsteps by seeing a counsellor to sort out his problems, but he refuses to listen to her advice and lets off steam by driving dangerously.

The situation soon comes to a head as Aaron loses control of the vehicle and it swerves off the road, leaving Chas injured.

Cain (Jeff Hordley) has followed the pair and springs into action when he spots Chas unconscious. But will she be okay and could this be the wake-up call that Aaron needs?

Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm and 8pm on ITV1.
