POTD: 'Emmerdale' Mia leaves the village

Emmerdale bids farewell to Mia Macey in tonight's episode of the soap as Declan goes ahead with his shock plan to banish her from his life.

Still reeling from the revelation that Jai (Chris Bisson) is Mia's biological father, Declan (Jason Merrells) asks Dermot to move back to Ireland and take her with him - under the pretence that he needs someone to look after him.

Although Mia (Sapphire Elia) is confused by Dermot's sudden desire to leave Home Farm, she begins to see that a fresh start could be exactly what she needs.

With the plan settled, Mia agrees that she'll fly off for her holiday in Nice before heading to Ireland with Dermot. But will Jai rock the boat by telling her the truth about her parentage before she goes?


Emmerdale continues tonight at 7pm on ITV1.
