POTD: 'Emmerdale's Marlon and Laurel almost kiss

Emmerdale's Marlon and Laurel nearly kiss after chatting candidly about their feelings in tonight's episode of the soap.

As a new day dawns in the village, Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) is determined that the current situation shouldn't be allowed to go any further and cancels her plans to meet Marlon, but The Woolpack's chef can't stay away and later pays a visit to her house while Ashley (John Middleton) is out.

With no distractions, the pair finally speak honestly about what's going on, agreeing that there's a spark between them but it can't go anywhere because of Laurel's marriage and family commitments.

Marlon (Mark Charnock) accepts what Laurel is saying but just as they're about to part ways, they almost lock lips. Can Marlon and Laurel stay away from each other from now on, or will this situation end in tears?


Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm on ITV1.
