POTD: 'Emmerdale's Marlon tries to win Laurel's heart

Emmerdale's Marlon Dingle waits nervously in a hotel room in tonight's hour-long episode after asking Laurel Thomas to meet him.

In the aftermath of his recent ultimatum, Marlon (Mark Charnock) tells Laurel that he'll be waiting for her at the Wood Park Hotel that evening. He promises that if she doesn't turn up, he'll walk away from their current situation once and for all.

Unable to resist temptation, Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) makes an excuse to a suspicious Ashley and heads off to see The Woolpack's chef.

Marlon is pleased when he sees that Laurel has decided to join him and tries to persuade her that they have a future together as a proper couple. It's soon clear that Laurel has a big decision to make…
