POTD: 'Emmerdale's Cain gets his comeuppance

Published Thursday, Dec 8 2011, 08:38 GMT | By Daniel Kilkelly | 4 comments
Emmerdale bad boy Cain Dingle finally faces the consequences of his actions as the soap airs its highly-anticipated 'Judgement Day' episodes this evening.

Cain (Jeff Hordley) finds himself an outcast in the village tonight as he enters The Woolpack and everyone threatens to leave if Chas serves him. When Chas (Lucy Pargeter) decides to appease the majority, Cain is furious and insults each of the locals one by one.

Later, Debbie (Charley Webb) finally succeeds in kicking Cain out of the house so he leaves the village on foot, licking his wounds.

However, someone is following Cain and gets the ultimate revenge by using a metal object to carry out a brutal attack on him.

Cain clearly recognises his attacker, but the culprit's identity will not be revealed to viewers until January. Who is responsible for Cain's comeuppance?
