'Emmerdale' Laurel decision pulls in 7.6m

Emmerdale continued to perform well on Wednesday evening as Laurel and Ashley considered their future, overnight figures show.

Emmerdale pulled in 7.62m (34.8%) at 7pm and 158k (0.6%) on timeshift as Laurel ignored her reservations and agreed to move away with Ashley.

Hollyoaks, meanwhile, attracted 1.09m (5.3%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Declan's behaviour at the pub quiz sparked concern.

Later, Hollyoaks' first look screening brought 469k (2.1%) to E4 at 7pm and 125k (0.5%) to E4+1.

Elsewhere, Doctors entertained 1.63m (23.1%) at 1.45pm on BBC One as Heston made a breakthrough with Marina.
