POTD: 'Emmerdale' horror for John and Moira

Emmerdale tonight airs the dramatic scenes that fans have been waiting for as John and Moira Barton have a terrifying road accident.

John (James Thornton) and Moira (Natalie J Robb) look forward to a fresh start this evening as they head off for their night at a hotel. Travelling in Andy Sugden's Land Rover, they reminisce over the early days of their relationship and are delighted to be getting back on track.

Suddenly, however, disaster strikes as the vehicle skids on some ice at high speed, crashes through an obstruction and lands on its side in the darkness.

When they regain consciousness, John and Moira are terrified to realise that they are trapped inside. As the car is teetering dangerously over the edge of a ravine, will the pair plunge to their deaths?


Emmerdale airs these scenes in an hour-long episode tonight at 7pm on ITV1.
