'Emmerdale' Chas, Cameron kiss seen by 7.3m

Emmerdale stayed above the 7m mark on Wednesday evening as Chas and Cameron gave into temptation, overnight figures show.

Emmerdale pulled in 7.29m (33.9%) at 7pm and a further 201k (0.9%) on timeshift as the pair shared an unexpected kiss at The Woolpack.

Waterloo Road, meanwhile, grabbed 4.5m (19.7%) at 8pm on BBC One as Tom faced fresh troubles with Josh.

Hollyoaks attracted 1.14m (5.7%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with the aftermath of Phoebe's betrayal of George, while 636k (3.0%) tuned in for E4's first look at 7pm for the next developments in the storyline.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours took 807k (10.5%) at 1.45pm and 1.06m (6.4%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 870k (4.6%) at 6pm and 467k (2.3%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors - titled 'The Fool' - was seen by 1.67m (22.0%) at 1.45pm.
