'Emmerdale' star wants Brenda, Val fight

Emmerdale star Lesley Dunlop has admitted that she would like to see her character Brenda Walker fight with Eric Pollard's wife Val.

Val ran off to Portugal with her husband's money when actress Charlie Hardwick decided to take a break from the ITV1 soap.

Eric gets caught up in the moment and kisses Brenda, who is taken aback

Eric has since started an affair with Brenda, who wants the couple to go public.

"I'd quite like it if Val comes back to the village fuming. It would be good to see how Eric reacts - whether he drops Brenda like a hot potato or tells Val where to go," Dunlop told Inside Soap.

"And since Brenda is secretly hoping all the things Eric's been telling her are true, she'd most likely be prepared to stand her ground and fight."

She added: "Whatever happens, I've got high hopes for Brenda. I'd like to see her win millions and buy Home Farm from Declan. Then she could buy the cafe and call it Brenda's Baps!"
