'Emmerdale' Macey dramas seen by 5.7m

Emmerdale was Wednesday evening's (May 23) most-watched soap as the Robbie Lawson storyline continued, overnight figures show.

The ITV1 serial pulled in 5.72m (34.8%) at 7pm and 192k (1.0%) on +1 as Megan Macey lashed out at half-brother Declan upon hearing that he had been contacting Robbie in secret.

Hollyoaks, meanwhile, attracted 715k (4.8%) to Channel 4 at 6.30pm and 147k (0.9%) to Channel 4+1 as Bart and Sinead decided to go on the run again. Later, E4's first look had 416k (2.5%) at 7pm.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 642k (12.2%) at 1.45pm and 733k (6.4%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 670k (4.9%) at 6pm and 412k (2.8%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors - titled 'Sticky Fingers' - was seen by 1.23m (23.4%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
