'Emmerdale' Carl King actor Tom Lister joins 'Peter Pan' pantomime

Emmerdale's Tom Lister has been confirmed for a stint in pantomime later this year.

The actor, who plays Carl King in the village serial, will play Captain Hook in Peter Pan.

The 34-year-old, who has been part of Emmerdale since 1999, will perform at the Sunderland Empire this Christmas.

Lister will be joined by Katy Ashworth, the star of CBeebies show I Can Cook.

Ashworth, a veteran of pantomimes, will play the lead part of Peter Pan in the show.

Peter Pan will run from December 13 to January 6.

Lister's former co-star Danny Miller, who portrayed Aaron Livesy until earlier this year, joined Cinderella in April.
