Speaking to Stray FM, Oaten explained: "The thing that really strikes me about Emmerdale - it always has done but especially now - is the team effort that has gone into it. The props, the costume, the make-up, the lighting guys, the sound, everything. They just work phenomenal hours and they never let that spirit go. They keep going.
"A lot of people have said, 'What if it goes wrong?' It won't go wrong, because if it goes wrong we'll make it right. That's how I feel about [the live episode] - I don't think there's going to be any doubt in anyone's minds that we can get through it."

Oaten, who joined Emmerdale in summer 2011, added that she is looking forward to more dramas in store for Rachel over the coming months.
She said: "The public are still discovering what Rachel's about, and I feel very grateful to the writers for giving her so many different layers.
"I feel excited for my character beyond the 40th as well, because I know there's a lot coming up for her. I love playing her."
Meanwhile, writing on Twitter this morning, Oaten enthused: "I have no fear for tonight. Only excitement. And that's because I work with the best team ever! @emmerdale live! 8 Hours and counting! X"
Emmerdale Live airs tonight from 7pm on ITV1.
