Miles, appearing on ITV2's Emmerdale Live: The Fallout, commented: "We've done two [recorded dress rehearsals] in case the satellite went down, and that was the most accurate of all of them. It was just bang on. There wasn't a thing wrong in that.
"People will try and pick it apart, but every one of those things - like the little drunken stumble on the cobbles and Tom Lister nearly going down when he went for the guy - all of that was rehearsed."
On the death of his on-screen brother Carl, he added: "I'm the last King standing. I've got to watch my back!"
Series producer Stuart Blackburn also paid tribute to the cast for their performances on the night.
Blackburn enthused: "I'm absolutely delighted. The cast, the crew, the camera guys - everyone's been the best they can and better. It's brilliant."
Emmerdale continues tomorrow (October 18) at 7pm and 8pm on ITV1.
