'Emmerdale' star speaks about cut footage

Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden has revealed that sexy scenes he filmed with co-star Sammy Winward for the soap had to be cut.

Viewers saw Matthew's character David Metcalfe getting intimate with Katie Sugden last week, but Matthew has admitted that most of the footage ended up on the cutting room floor.

"We really went for it. The scenes were the steamiest I've ever done," Matthew told the Daily Star Sunday. "We were both quite nervous as they wanted them to be steamy. So we just had to go for it.

"But there were issues about what was allowed to go out at 7pm - so some of the steamier bits had to be cut."
