Adele Silva to take 'Emmerdale' break

The actress, who plays Kelly Windsor, is planning to try out new roles during her time away. She leaves in October but producers are confident that she will return in 2008.
A source told The Mirror: "She has been thinking about leaving for a while to try out new things and is really looking forward to the future."
An Emmerdale spokeswoman said: "Adele will be taking a 12-month break at the end of the year to focus on other projects but will return to Emmerdale in 2008.”
Silva previously departed from the soap in 2000 but returned in 2005.
