'Emmerdale' star dumps Fleeshman

Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallett has ended her relationship with Richard Fleeshman.

The actress, who plays Jo Stiles on the ITV1 soap, started dating former Corrie star Richard last year after they appeared on Soapstar Superstar together.

However, Fleeshman - best known for his role as Weatherfield's Craig Harris - has been spending most of his time in London recently as he prepares to launch a singing career. His commitments have left him with little opportunity to see Roxanne, who films Emmerdale in Leeds.

A source told the News of the World: "She is completely devastated by the split with Richard. With him being absorbed in his music career in London, she felt she had no option but to end things.

"She is heartbroken but trying to be strong. Her friends and family are all rallying round her."

An Emmerdale spokesman said: "We can confirm Roxanne is no longer dating Richard due to manic work schedules and the long distance involved."
