Older women attracted to toy boy Carter

Emmerdale actor Alex Carter has revealed that he has been attracting older women since his character started having a toy boy love affair.

The 25-year-old plays Jamie Hope in the soap and the character is about to resume his affair with Louise Appleton, played by 38-year-old actress Emily Symons.

Carter said: "I get seedy advances from older women in real life now! Old dears in the supermarket love the storylines - they tell me ‘I’ve got to watch you, I know what you’re after!’

"Now I’m waiting for the saucy fan mail from older women. Here’s hoping!"

The actor also revealed that he was happy to see his character's pet rabbits go, saying: "The rabbits are real feisty little bastards. They go mental if you handle them wrongly and the handlers tell you off. I won’t be sad to see the back of them."
