Sharon Lambert to return to 'Emmerdale'

Sharon Lambert is to cause havoc when she arrives back in Emmerdale at the beginning of June.

The character, played by Victoria Hawkins, will return for a two-week stint to mark the 5,000th episode of the ITV1 soap.

She will be seen trying to make amends with half brother Paul (Mathew Bose) and mother Val (Charlie Hardwick) prior to her wedding to Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell).

One village girl is left seething with jealousy after Lambert sets her sights on her next conquest.

The wannabe WAG left the show last year when her wedding to footballer Dan was ruined after she was exposed as a gold-digger in front of the village.

Hawkins, 24, said: "I'm delighted to be back as part of the 5,000th episode celebrations. Sharon's a really fun character to play and I can't wait to put her stilettos back on and cause more mayhem."
