Pictures: Jasmine questioned by cops in E'dale

Published Wednesday, Dec 31 2008, 00:02 GMT | By Kris Green | 2 comments
Following the discovery of former bent cop Shane Doyle's (Paul McEwan) corpse in yesterday's episode of Emmerdale, Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) struggles to come to terms with the enormous fallout of her actions.

While panicking that the investigation will uncover a clue as to her involvement in Shane's death, the police call her to the station for another round of questioning. Ashley (John Middleton) and Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) gladly go with her and during the interview, Jasmine's more than shaky...

The investigating officer (which eagle-eyed soap viewers will recognise as Michael McKell, aka Doctors' now-dead Nick West) equates Jasmine's disposition with her connection to Shane and the shock which his death has inevitably caused her.

Even when the teenager claims that she was the cause of Shane's death, her remark is simply overlooked and misinterpreted by the police...

These scenes air tonight at 7pm on ITV1.

Just wanted to comment on how outstanding Emmerdale has been over the last few weeks. It never seems to get the recognition it deserves. 'Jasmine's' acting is superb as the murderer with a conscience, as well as 'Victoria's' portrayal of a confused, frightened teenager. As for 'Carl'.....well he's just hot! Keep it up Emmerdale, lets hope you finally get the awards you deserve!

I should think Jasmine will be sent down for killing Shane. Does she honestly expect to get away with it?.
