Gavin Blyth's first 'Emmerdale' credit

(Relatively) new Emmerdale series producer Gavin Blyth has been at the soap for nearly a month-and-a-half now and so from next week, we should begin to see some changes with the ITV show.

Gavin's first credited episode is due to air on Friday, March 13.

I don't know whether that's a good sign or not!

Since joining, he has signed Kim Thomson to play Faye Lamb, a mystery woman from Mark Wylde's (Maxwell Caulfield) past, along with UK soap's first ever blind soap actress Kitty McGeever, who will play a friend of Lisa Dingle (Jane Cox), Lizzie Lakely.

He's also currently casting for a new bad boy character. More on that one soon.
