This week's unmissable 'Emmerdale' eps

Published Tuesday, Jan 12 2010, 18:25 GMT | By Kris Green | 1 comment
Back in May last year, I popped up to Leeds for the day to have a good ol' chinwag with the then-new Emmerdale producer Gavin Blyth, who took office around this time last year.

From the moment I left the Emmerdale site, I had high hopes. Times were definitely a changin'. The building seemed to ooze the ambition and drive that it'd been lacking for a fairly long time.

A year on and who'd have thought we'd have seen episodes such as the rooftop ep back in August and the church fire in November?

Well, add a couple more to that list as Thursday's episodes are corkers. In fact, every episode starting from tonight through to the end of the week is certainly worthy of being watched. They're the best set of Emmerdale screenings I've seen in a long time.

Thursday's episodes in particular, however, deserve their own mention.

Emmerdale airs all this week at 7pm on ITV1 with an additional episode on Thursday at 8pm.
