'Emmerdale': Aaron's best bits awards - shortlist revealed

Earlier this month, we brought you the news that fans of Emmerdale's Aaron Livesy are celebrating his time on the show with the 'Aaron's Best Bits' awards.

Supporters at Danny Miller Online came up with the idea to coincide with the popular character's upcoming exit from the soap.

Votes have been flooding in over the past few weeks and a shortlist has now been drawn up reflecting the most popular choices across the 12 categories.

Major categories include:

Aaron admitting he is gay and confiding in Paddy
Aaron coming out in court
Aaron opening up to Jackson by the roadside before the crash
Aaron talking to Jackson before his final moments
Aaron reacting after feeding Jackson the lethal drink

Voting closes on April 1 and the winners will be announced on April 6 - the day after Aaron's exit episodes.
