The 45-year-old, now a regular on Doctors as Howard Bellamy, played Dave Glover on Emmerdale in the '90s.
Sending a good luck message via Digital Spy today (October 17), Kelsey commented: "Emmerdale gave me my first start and also some of the best years of my life. Good fun. Great crews. And good mates. 'Good luck studio' for the live one!"
Also sending along the picture above, Kelsey added: "Sometimes you can't get away from the livestock. Even on the Doctors set!"
