Tom Lister sticking with 'Emmerdale'

Following Thursday's reveal episode of Emmerdale's 'Who Killed Tom King?' mystery - which saw Carl King (Tom Lister) confess to his father's murder - DS forum members have been speculating as to the future of Tom Lister in the Yorkshire soap.
Despite being spotted on set filming via the ITV soap's webcam, some have suggested that the 28-year-old actor has quit the soap to spend time with his family, while other outrageous comments claim that he's auditioned for a rival soap...
A show insider, however, has cleared everything up. They told me: "Tom isn't going anywhere soon. He's contracted until at least the end of the year!"
So there we have it - looks like he's around for a while to come. With that answered, I'm heading to the BAFTAs!
