Andy disowns his family

Aware that they are not welcome to stay at the B & B on a permanent basis, Robert and Katie move into a caravan, giving Turner no explanation as to where they are going.

Desperate to repair his broken family, Jack invites Andy round for dinner, not mentioning that Robert will be there too. Andy is furious when Katie turns up, incensed he’s been played for a fool.

Jack later apologises to Andy who retaliates by telling him that he no longer wants to be part of his family, determined that from now on he is a Hopwood, not a Sugden.

Simon and Carlos desperately try to reinstall Marlon’s passion for cooking, but their efforts prove pointless, as he seems to have no interest in reviving his culinary skills.

Later, at home Paddy complements Marlon on his cooking as he tucks into food prepared the day before. Marlon is initially unconvinced, but when he tries his own dish he agrees it is actually very good. Could this be the breakthrough Marlon needs to entice him back to work?

Elsewhere, Pearl has a flutter on the horses and admits to Rodney that she has lost a couple of hundred pounds. She also confesses she is partial to a game of poker and they arrange a game later in the week. Could Pearl be setting herself up for a fall?
