Maisie asks Marlon to be her pretend boyfriend
Lisa and Zak have the misfortune of hearing about Bob's financial woes first hand in the shop. Bob and Brenda spend all day trying to come up with ideas to save the business but a solution fails to present itself.

Finally, a visit from Nathan saves Bob's bacon when he mentions that a project he's working on will bring scores of workmen to the village. Taking advantage of the fact that the labourers will be working through the night, Bob announces that the café will be opening 24 hours. Lisa is mortified to discover what Bob's done when he reveals that he's had to choose between seeing the twins and providing for them.

Lisa announces to Zak that she's ashamed of him and states that he's failed the family. Can Lisa find a way to help Bob?

Meanwhile, Gennie refuses to acknowledge Lisa at work. When Lisa tries to apologise, Gennie says she wants nothing to do with her family until they pay back the money. Determined that a 24 hour café will save the day, Bob is delighted when a guilty Gennie agrees to work for him. Will Gennie's penance salve her guilty conscience?

Elsewhere, Mark is annoyed with Nathan after he accuses Maisie of seeing Andy behind their backs. She denies his claims but tells a worried Andy about her brother's suspicions. To throw her parents off the scent, Maisie coerces Marlon into pretending to be her boyfriend and in return she'll put in a good word with Natasha.

After he agrees, Maisie spreads the news to Mark and Nathan who, although shocked, are relieved it's not Andy. Can Maisie maintain her strange lie?
