After spending all day trying to get hold of Faye, Mark marches her out of the Woolpack set for an argument. Mark angrily questions her about what she's doing in the village and she states that it's the perfect opportunity for Mark to bond with his son.
Mark protests at her suggestion but is horrified at the depth of her vitriol as she asserts in no uncertain terms that he ruined her life so what's to stop her doing the same to him? Can Mark contain Faye's next move?
Meanwhile, the Dingles arrange for a shearer to fleece the sheep and then organise for them to be sold to a local farmer. However, Shadrach bodges the deal resulting in the Dingles failing to sell the flock and then make very little profit from the sheepskins.
After a conversation with Andy, Lisa is astounded to discover that Zak has stolen the sheep from Butler's Farm. Zak tries to allay her fears by saying that if the Bartons have lost livestock, they will probably be in the market for replacements. Zak forms a plan to make some money, but will the Bartons fall for his scheme?
At the Woolpack, Diane's rushed off her feet when Val swans off with Pollard. In desperation, she asks Rodney to help behind the bar. Val returns and voices her annoyance with the decision but Diane argues that she had no choice. Are Val's protestations well founded?

Zak and John come to an agreement over the sheep, but John knows about the Dingle's plan.
