Val's 'moment' with Rodney is exposed

Val's relieved that Rodney hasn't told Pollard about her attempt to seduce him. Knowing that she made a fool of herself, she's a woman on the edge and ponders how to repair the damage. She begs Rodney not to tell anyone but he refuses to hear her out. Diane's intrigued as she witnesses the altercation between the pair and drags them into the back room to get to the bottom of what's going on.

As Val tries to explain her logic and justify coming onto Rodney, Pollard's covering the bar and keeping one ear open as he tries to listen in on the raised voices in the backroom. Val apologises for her mistake, sure they can forget about it and move on, but Diane is incredulous.

Unaware that Pollard has entered the room, Diane lays into Val and insists that she can't keep messing with people's lives. Diane asks whether Val even thought about Pollard before she tarted herself around, while a dumbstruck Pollard demands to know what is going on. Will he forgive his wife's indiscretion?

Meanwhile, Turner's decided not to join Eddy on his adventure. Worried about how to break the news to his old friend, Turner's mortified when Sam unwittingly drops him in it. Will Eddy face the open road alone?

Mark sees Cain and Faye emerging from the café and stops Ryan on his way to the pub to question him as to what's going on between them. Ryan doesn't think that he has any right to ask and comments that at least Cain isn't a married man.

Elsewhere, Viv's horrified by the new sign above the café which reads 'Walker & Hope's Café', while Nathan takes a liking to Holly.
