John's arrested

As Aaron tries to break out of the stable, John informs a shocked Moira what he's done and she insists that they go release him. As they unlock the door, a furious Aaron jumps out and lays into John. Paddy orders him straight into the car but Aaron warns John that it's not over.

Later that day, the Bartons are stunned when the police arrive at the farm to arrest John for assault and false imprisonment. Will Aaron drop the charges or will John face prison?

Pollard makes the decision to move on with his life without Val but it's clear that he's missing her desperately. Meanwhile, in the B&B, Val is driving Terry mad and tells him that she can't take being cooped up any longer and needs to know how Pollard is reacting to her disappearance.

As she continues to survey the comings and goings of the village behind her net curtains at the B&B, Terry enquires after Pollard in the pub. He soon returns to the B&B and informs a delighted Val that Pollard is gutted by her sudden departure. However, she can't bring herself to call him and put him out of his misery. How will Val's plan play out?

Meanwhile, Jamie's upset that Gennie has fallen for Dominic and admits to a horrified Bob that he has feelings for her. Bob tries to put Jamie off telling Gennie by suggesting that he's probably on the rebound from Louise. Jamie, however, insists that he knows how he feels.

Later, when Gennie arrives at the pub, she's appalled when Bob implies that she's been leading Jamie on. She firmly assures him that she isn't on the rebound and got over him long ago. Seeing that he's overstepped the mark, Bob insists that he only wants them to be happy but Gennie snaps and suggests that he simply wants to keep their sordid secret safe. Will Gennie take heed of Bob's warning?
