Terry's unimpressed with her scheming and is furious when he overhears David telling Pollard that he's had a call from the bank, suggesting that Val's been taking money. Fuming, Terry confronts her and begins unpacking her things from the drawers in preparation to throw her out. He's astonished, though, when a confused Val tells him that she's actually paid half of her money from the sale of the pub into Pollard's account.
Meanwhile, Pollard's spoken to the bank and is staggered by the news of the money. Thrilled to realise that Val loves him more than money, he's determined to show her that he feels the same way. How will the rest of Val's plan play out?
Meanwhile, Chas tries to convince Aaron to drop the charges against John, who's told his family that they should come to terms with prospect that he might go to prison. John's tried to apologise to Aaron, too, but to no avail.
Later, Moira and Holly are filled with dread when Chas admits that she's been unable to talk any sense into her son. Desperate to help her dad, Holly heads over to the garage and begins flirting with Aaron. The youngster's tempted but knows that she has an agenda.
When she admits what she's up to and pleads with him to drop the charges, he tells her he will - but only if she sleeps with him. Disgusted, Holly storms off leaving Aaron feeling terrible. Will Aaron come to his senses?
Elsewhere, Gennie's upset that Jamie seems to be avoiding her, while in the pub, Jamie tells his dad how depressed he's feeling about Gennie. However, Bob remains strong and tells him that he should make the most of his single years.
Later, there's an awkward atmosphere between Gennie and Jamie but he's delighted when she reveals that she's breaking up with Dominic. However, as they share a moment, Bob butts in and spoils it. How long can Bob keep them apart?
Also, David tells Pollard that the new factory owners have bought Holdgate Farm.
