Gennie sugests that Katie forgive Ryan
Debbie's still furious with Cain for attacking Michael and is relieved when he finally calls to arrange to meet with her. She's gutted when Michael insists that their liaisons were meant be a good thing and that if people are going to get hurt, then it's probably gone too far. He goes on to admit that it was going to have to end at some point anyway.

Worried that he's about to end things with her, Debbie tries to talk him round. She admits that she's already in love with him and that it's too late to worry about getting hurt. Michael's shocked by the depth of her feelings for him but she's devastated that he doesn't seem to reciprocate them. However when he reveals that he's engaged, Debbie's floored.

As the enormity of the situation sinks in, Michael tries to reassure her that he does have strong feelings for her - and that he doesn't even know if he loves his fiancée any more - but Debbie's fuming and shouts that her dad was right all along.

When he reveals that the wedding's next week, Debbie's seething and throws him out, realising that she's been nothing more than a final fling to him.

Meanwhile, Gennie urges Katie to forgive Ryan but Katie's sure that he doesn't want anything to do with her. Taking heed of Gennie's advice, she apologise to Ryan but is dejected when he tells her to forget it - he's not bothered about what she thinks of him. Ryan, however, clearly still has feelings for her. Will they ever hit it off?

Elsewhere, after seeing the tension between her and Cain, Natasha asks when she'll be moving on as there's now purpose in her staying around. However, when Faye assures her that Cain wasn't the reason she came in the first place, Natasha's unnerved that she's still intent on pursuing Mark.

Also, Aaron and Paddy continue to bicker but Paddy admits that he's glad of the company.
