Viv chats to Hari about pregnancy

Nicola tries to apologise to Paul, but incensed at his anger she tells him Ivan and her were having a full blown affair. When Rodney continues to defend Nicola, Paul is further saddened. When Kelly tells Rodney that Nicola is now saying she and Ivan had an affair – Rodney is confused as to why Nicola would lie and confronts her. Nicola panics but continues to tell her lies. Shocked, Rodney realises she knew what she was doing and how much she has hurt Paul. Rodney realises he has been a fool to pander to Nicola and tries to find Paul. But is it too late?

Meanwhile, Paul tells Diane and Val he is thinking of leaving the village. When Rodney enters the pub he receives a frosty reception until he reveals he is there to make up with his son. Rodney apologises for lavishing attention on Nicola and asks his son to return home. However when Nicola bursts in, Paul reveals he can not live under the same roof as her and asks his father to make a decision once and for all. Will Rodney choose his son over manipulative Nicola?

Elsewhere, unable to get a doctor’s appointment, a desperate Viv collars Hari for some friendly advice about pregnancy. Bemused, Hari suggests Viv and Bob go at it like rabbits. However, he offends her when he mentions that some animals have difficulty conceiving when older. Later when Viv produces her fertility chart, Bob is slightly alarmed to see their love making transformed into a regime. Will he continue to go along with her baby-making plan?
