Sam Dingle returns to Emmerdale convinced that as Zak’s only surviving son his place is with his family.
But the happy wanderer, who sought refuge in Ireland after convincing himself that a scam with Cain might land him in prison, is in for a real shock. No-one has bothered to contact him to say that Cain, who frightens him to the core, is in fact his brother.
Pollard is pleased when Gloria returns to work - as she will no longer be under his feet. But Paddy puts a spanner in the works when he suggests that she should sort out her living arrangements once and for all.
Jack confides to Seth that his old cell mate has given him a large sum of money. Aware of Jack’s financial plight Seth suggests that he should keep the cash. But he becomes even more frustrated when he discovers that the money was stolen.
And Ed becomes concerned that Emily might be losing interest in him.
