Zak decides to hold a party in Sam’s honour, but has an ulterior motive, to try and bring Paddy and Emily together.
With the party in full swing, Emily and Paddy become uncomfortable with the attention that Zak is paying them and they are horrified when he admits they he is playing matchmaker.
Fearing that there might be some truth to the rumours about Paddy and Emily, Ed arrives and makes his feelings for Emily crystal clear.
Pollard is horrified when Gloria suggests that she could move in with him permanently as his tenant. After all her recent problems could he be heartless enough to turn her down?
Angie is annoyed when Cain cancels their rendezvous for the evening. And Jack is saddened to hear that Harry, has been arrested for trying to hold up a shop with a pack of wine gums!
