Tension is high in the Sugden household as Andy's friendship with Cain drives a wedge between him and Jack. Robert is feeling neglected and tells his father that his relationship with Andy is dividing the family. Andy tries to reason with Cain in a bid to recoup the money he gave him, while Jack searches for answers in the bottom of a whisky bottle.
Chris is convinced that Charity is betraying him, while Chloe is also becoming increasingly suspicious of her housemate. The intrigue is heightened when she overhears Charity engaged in a flirty conversation on the phone. She is concerned when she later spots Charity in the Woolpack with Scott - again.
Charity finally admits to Chloe that she has a lover - she refuses to reveal who, but insists she will continue to see Chris at the same time.
Bernice finds the strength to return to work at the Woolpack.
