'On The Run'

Samson's health deteriorates but Sam is wary of the security at the hospital and calls Marlon for help. Marlon relays Sam's story to Donna who calls for police assistance. Surrounding the building Sam is supposedly hiding in, the police find nothing, unaware Marlon has tipped Sam off.

In spite of Donna's presence, Sam opens up to his cousin and is eventually convinced to turn himself in. On arrival at the police station there is a tug-of-war between police and Dingles and Sam finds himself arrested and Samson taken away. Shouting his belief that he's been betrayed, Sam is led to a cell. Are his troubles just beginning?

Also, Scarlett remains cold towards Lexi while growing more friendly with the devious Debbie. Scarlett is thoughtful when Debbie offers her a room at Tug Ghyll, but Daz convinces her that if she moves into Home Farm she can keep an eye on the Kings. Matthew is stunned to find Lexi and Scarlett on the doorstep as the power struggles within the King family threaten to erupt once more.

Meanwhile, as Carl packs his bags Matthew reminds him who the decision maker is in the family business. Meeting Lexi in the pub, Carl bemoans his lack of success but she warns him against cutting his ties with his brothers. Agreeing wholeheartedly, Carl does move into Dale View but decides to remain with King & Sons. Will Carl's fake gesture of loyalty seem genuine?
