The actress has no immediate plans to quit her role as Louise Summers on the Channel 4 show, but she is already considering a future in film and serious drama.
"I just try to think positive," Roxanne told Celebs on Sunday magazine. "I want to do a period drama - I'd love to be in a bonnet and a big flouncy dress - and I'd like to do a play, because I've never done one before. And a film."
Asked about how long she will stick with the show, McKee replied: "Well, I don't think I'll be there when I'm an old lady, but I'm contracted for a while yet. I'm still enjoying it. I will leave at some stage, though - my family and my home is in London."
Despite winning the sexiest female prize at this year's British Soap Awards, McKee recently revealed that she often feels anxious about her appearance.
