Hollyoaks actor Glen Wallace has revealed that he recently had his contract with the Channel 4 soap extended by another year.
Speaking to DS on the red carpet at this year's British Soap Awards, the 33-year-old, who plays Malachy Fisher in the teen drama, said: "It was initially a 12 month contract and they've been very kind and they've extended, so I've been given a bit of a reprieve. I think there's a lot more to be got from the HIV storyline and to have someone come in and die off straight away is unrealistic anyway."
