'Hollyoaks' Ste hints at baby plot ending

Hollyoaks' bad boy Kieron Richardson has revealed that the climax to his ongoing baby plot is not what viewers will expect.

Unbeknown to his character Ste Hay, his mysterious friends Abi (Elaine Glover) and Daniel Raven (Chris Hargreaves) have been spiking him with caffeine pills, while their ultimate plan is to make him out to be an unfit father to baby Lucas.

The plot, however, reaches an unexpected climax in September. Speaking to DS at the Inside Soap Awards launch party, Richardson said: "It's getting quite dark. It's really interesting and exciting. I'm not going to give too much away because we're trying to entertain people and if we give it away, it's not entertaining!"

He added: "It's not the ending people think it is - and I was quite shocked with the ending. But it's good, really good."
