On returning to the flat, Ste (Kieron Richardson) is shocked to discover that Abi (Elaine Glover) and Daniel (Chris Hargreaves) have already left with baby Lucas but he manages to track them down before they leave the village.
In a standoff between Abi, Ste and Daniel, Abi's forced to choose between handing Lucas over to his father or her husband.
Abi relents and hands Lucas back to Ste and while she flees the scene, the police arrive and arrest Daniel for attempted child abduction.
Hollyoaks airs tonight at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
