Merna: 'Novelty of wedding has worn off'

The Hollyoaks star - who plays Carmel Valentine - told The Sun that she probably won't tie the knot with her property developer fiancé for a few years.
She admitted: "I've not even started planning my wedding yet. We'll get married in the next couple of years. The novelty has worn off now."
Commenting on how she envisages her big day, the 25-year-old said: "It will probably be a small do. I don't want it to be too manic, I just want to enjoy it.
"I've been so busy with working and sorting our house out, but wedding dress shopping is the next thing I need to do."
Merna revealed that her Hollyoaks co-stars Jennifer Metcalfe and Claire Cooper have been encouraging her to get organised.
"They've been trying to plan my wedding for ages but I can't be bothered. They'll end up getting married before me," she stated.
Meanwhile, the actress denied that she has been lined up for the next series of Dancing On Ice.
She said: "I'm not going to be on Dancing On Ice. I'm concentrating on being in Hollyoaks at the moment and I'm too busy to do anything else."
